Principal Technical Delivery Consultant (Boston)

Position Overview

Exari is looking for highly motivated technical delivery consultants who are eager to support our rapid growth. The ideal candidate must have client-facing consultative experience, and should possess strong technology knowledge across the most popular web and application platforms and operating systems, good analytical skills, and the ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. This position is ideal for candidates who want to grow and develop with the company.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Consult with clients and deliver integration with upstream/downstream and workflow applications, leveraging Exari’s published APIs and product suite
  • Consult with clients and deliver customizations, workflow configuration and custom development tasks
  • Install and configure the Exari server-side and client-side software in client environments and/or our own hosted locations; work effectively with client IT personnel
  • Provide Exari Administration training and mentoring to clients
  • Gain detailed knowledge of Exari’s authoring tools and processes to support the full implementation of the Exari suite
  • Provide support to Exari and/or client authors for database queries and calculations (javascript)
  • Author document templates using Exari’s software to produce well-styled documents with consistent variable names and logic conditions that meet the user’s requirements
  • Provide customer support for APIs, installation and customization
  • Support the sales process through standardized or customized demos
  • Support product testing through QC for new releases

Requirements include:

  • Prior consulting experience as part of a product company or systems integration consultancy
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in Enterprise Java and application deployment/configuration
  • Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical resources both at the client and within Exari development
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple complex tasks that come together under one deadline
  • Self-starter and quick learner
  • Ability to travel in North America, the UK, Continental Europe and possibly other global destinations

Experience/Education:

  • 7+ years in similar positions
  • BA/BS Degree
  • Enterprise Java, J2EE
  • XML
  • Java Application servers –Tomcat, Websphere, JBoss, Weblogic
  • Web services
  • Relational Databases – Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL
  • Open Source software development; development experience a plus
  • Systems Administration
  • Deep Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Document automation a plus
  • Document Management / Workflow a plus (e.g., SalesForce, Sharepoint, Alfresco)
  • Knowledge of enterprise contract management solutions a plus

Sales

The engine of rapid growth is sales and Exari is looking for new salespeople with strong enterprise software, CLM software or legal software sales experience. You should be passionate about spreading the word about a solution that can solve a lot of problems in today's business world. Experience with Salesforce.com also a plus.

Inside Sales

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and establishing meetings with qualified contacts within targeted segments in the US and UK. Experience with software solution selling, and exceeding qualified lead and revenue goals is a plus. The Inside Sales Representative will support the direct sales force and will be on a path to assume a role as a field sales representative with the company.

Account Management

With new customers coming on board, we need to expand our account management team. You should have experience in farming existing accounts in the enterprise software space. You should also have a track record of working with customers to answer their questions, address their problems and look for new opportunities. Experience with Salesforce.com a plus.
