Ed is Chairman of Beacon Equity Partners LLC and Beacon Real Estate Partners LLC. Prior to Beacon, Ed had been CEO, president or chairman of five technology companies, both public and private. He has been an adjunct professor at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. Ed is an avid sportsman, aviator, and philanthropist. He is currently chairman of the board of the Judge Baker Children’s Center, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
Bill joined Exari in 2015 as Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the company’s vision, strategy and business operations. Bill has a strong track record of growing technology companies for companies including Kalido, where he served as President and CEO, Novell, as President of Asia Pacific and Chief Marketing Officer and at market leader PeopleSoft and Hyperion Software. Bill began his career at IBM, where he spent ten years in sales, marketing and executive management. Bill holds a BS degree in business administration from the Boston University School of Management
Joe has ten years of experience in finance and operations in the software industry. He is a member of the Exari executive team and a partner at Beacon Equity Partners, where he has focused on mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Beacon, he led business development for Guardian Solutions, a security software company. Joe previously spent four years as a technology investment banker with Hambrecht & Quist. He holds undergraduate degrees from the College of the Holy Cross and Northeastern University, as well as a Masters in Business Administration from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
Reg joins Exari from Beacon Equity Partners. Previously he was CEO at Alpine Access, where he tripled sales and quadrupled its value in 2 years. Prior to Alpine Access, he was at Unisys, where he was President of the $200+ million/year Global Telecommunications Group with 100 clients in 40 countries. Before Unisys, he was SVP, acting CTO and Chief eCommerce Officer at AMS, Inc., where he played a catalytic role in growing AMS from a pre-IPO startup to a $1+ billion business. Reg holds an AB in English and a Masters of Business Administration, both from Harvard University.
Martin helped to establish Exari’s UK business in 2006, opening our London office. He has managed the delivery of many successful broking and underwriting projects. Martin is an insurance industry veteran, having spent his entire career within the global insurance market, working for Marsh in Bermuda, New York and London, and for Lloyd’s.
Terry joined Exari in June 2008 as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and was named President in May 2009. Prior to Exari, Terry was SVP of Product Sales Consulting and SVP of Decision Solutions Sales at Fidelity National Information Services. Earlier, Terry was a SVP at Efunds Corporation where he ran the Major Accounts business unit, serving the top 100 Financial Institutions in North America. Terry held a number of sales and sales management roles in IBM’s Financial Services sector. He was also involved in several B2B startups and spent 10 years on Wall Street. Terry holds a B.A. from Carleton College.
Mark comes to Exari with more than 20 years’ experience in the Software Industry. He has worked with many large organizations in North America and Europe including Wachovia (now Wells Fargo), Royal Bank of Canada, Bottomline Technologies, Fineos, SalusAnsvar, Mutual of Omaha, Aegon, Principal Financial Group, Assurant Employee Benefits and Lincoln Financial Group as well as smaller organizations in software engineering, consulting, and management positions.
Before co-founding Exari in 2000, Justin was a Senior Project Manager at Lochard, a software company which specialized in the integration of flight track monitoring systems for major international airports. He also assisted with the commercialization of biotechnology applications for a technology company in Israel. Justin has a Doctorate in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
Geoff established Exari’s European business in 2006, opening our London office and growing sales to insurance, investment banking, media, technology and legal customers. Prior to Exari, he was Sales & Services Director for a leading specialist software provider, for the global listed derivatives industry. Prior to this, Geoff worked for NCR for 12 years in a number of sales and management roles.
Grant is responsible for global solutions and business development at Exari. Grant is considered a leading contributor in the legal technology space having spent 10+ years practicing law as well as serving as in-house counsel to a former Fortune 500 company. Grant is a frequent speaker on the subject of contracts management best practices. He received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and his JD from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Rachael leads Client Services and Delivery at Exari backed by over 20 years’ experience in systems and software consulting, client and project management. She has worked with a wide range of global Fortune 500 companies across many industries including financial services, technology, and health care to build systems, implement software, train clients, and manage teams. Rachael joined Exari in 2013 as an Engagement Manager and has worked with several of our largest clients. She holds degrees from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and the University of Michigan.
Eric is a seasoned marketing executive with more than 20 years’ experience for both technology companies and leading agencies. During the first part of his career, Eric worked as a consultant at several different agencies, including Mercer Management and CGN Marketing, helping client’s position their brands and market their products and services. He was also the founding partner of Nitrogen marketing, serving clients including Philips Medical Systems. On the client side, Eric has led the marketing functions at Lycos, Aquent and several other technology start-ups. Eric has Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Harvard and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
Gary leads Exari’s finance and operations teams after having held senior operating and finance roles at multiple venture backed businesses. Previously, Gary served as a member of the management team at RiverRidge Consulting Group, specializing in the triage of troubled venture backed businesses, M&A advisory services, turnarounds and ownership transitions. Gary led strategic development teams while at Accenture Strategic Services in the Supply Chain Strategy Practice for communications and technology clients. While at JPMorgan, Gary executed finance transactions for emerging technology companies within the corporate finance investment banking group. Gary earned his Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, and his MBA from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business.
Jamie co-founded Exari in 2000 and served as CEO until 2008 when he relocated to Boston to expand the company. Prior to co-founding Exari, Jamie was a Senior Associate with Minter Ellison, a large Australian law firm, where he focused on copyright, technology and the information industries. He has been an adviser to the Supporters of Interoperable Systems in Australia (’97-’07), a Board member of the Australian Digital Alliance (’98-’08), and represented an international NGO at the WIPO Copyright Treaty negotiations (’96). He received his law degree from the University of Melbourne.
