The company was founded in 1999 by a team of lawyers and technologists who were frustrated by long hours and late nights spent word-processing documents, and who longed for a faster, smarter, more flexible way of drafting documents. Investors include Wolters Kluwer a listed global information and publishing business.
Exari is a strong supporter of open systems and standards, and this is reflected in the products we develop. We also participate in a number of standards efforts, and host an open source XML editor project called Xerlin.
