Boston – December 1, 2009 - Exari Systems announced today the release of a new version of its document assembly software, which is available immediately to all of Exari’s customers worldwide. Exari automates the creation of documents from highly complex insurance, lending, derivatives and legal agreements to sales and service contracts to simple customer communications. The Exari solution has been proven in some of the world’s leading companies including Dow Jones, Munich Re, DLA Piper, Westpac Banking Group and the Catlin Group.

Exari is the only enterprise document assembly solution that can automate the full spectrum of documents from simple batch letters to semi-standard documents to highly complex, negotiated contracts. Often, the key to a successful document automation project hinges on the ability to automate unexpected complexities.

For complex, negotiated contracts, Exari’s unique Roundtrip™ feature bridges the gap between automated assembly and Word-based negotiations. New in this version (5.4), negotiators can preview, accept or reject each change from a standard web-browser. In a recent review of Exari in the TechnoFeature Newsletter, noted document assembly expert Seth Rowland said of the Exari RoundTrip,” Exari adds an option that is unique in the document assembly industry.” Using Roundtrip™, any changes made to Word documents throughout the negotiation can be seen when re-imported into Exari, even if the counter-party did not use track changes.

With this new version, Exari extends its leadership in dynamic interactive document assembly by making the user experience even more intuitive.  Using a standard browser, anyone can be guided through the assembly of complex documents.  When finished, Exari’s interactive web preview now includes the option of instant document updates, where specific answers can be changed and the document is updated, all without leaving the preview.

“Exari’s ability to handle complexity is paramount to our customers, particularly in the insurance, banking and professional services sectors,” said Terry Lee, Exari President.  "So in this new version we focused on making it even easier to author, maintain and use complex documents.”

At the other end of the spectrum, Exari’s ability to handle high volume batch output of simple documents like invoices and customer communications is enhanced in this version with new output options, automatic barcode generation and variable watermarks.

Exari included numerous enhancements to the authoring tools, including improvements to real-time testing.  For a full list of new features, click here.
