Auto-suggest Interview Answers

Answering Exari interviews has been made even faster and easier with users now seeing a pop-down menu of suggested values as they type answers to open-ended questions.  By typing ahead, answers to constrained questions can also be filtered to help the user obtain the correct selection.

 

New Interview Displays and Controls
New interview display options improve page layout and content.  Question prompts can now appear side by side, taking up less space on the page.  Active behavior can be set on a question by question basis. 
Users now have the power to determine the styles used in their output document for the answers to formatted text questions.  Users can set the text to appear in bold, italic, underline, numbered or bulleted lists, or use any of the pre-defined styles in the document. Users now have the flexibility of incrementing repeats, with added constraints of the maximum and minimum number of repeated items able to be entered.

 

Instantaneous Web Preview Revisit

There is now no need to leave the web preview page to revisit questions and change answers.  Changes can be made to the web preview via an active pop-up dialog, with instantaneous effect upon the web preview content. 

 

New Output Options

Users now have the option of outputting PDF documents with print and copy protection, and also Duplex PostScript output.  Finer control is also available for determining the possible options made available to users for output of each file type.

 

Variable Watermark Content

The text in document watermarks can now be entered by the user, or contain other automatically updated variable content, such as the date.

 

Barcode Support

Exari is now able to dynamically generate and insert barcodes in output documents.

 

Encryption and Security

Exari’s security conscious controls have become even tighter, with support for email encryption, password encryption in Exari server configuration files and additional security/authentication frameworks.

 

Image Manipulation

Logos and images can now be manipulated with Exari’s capability to insert text over images, and greater flexibility in image placement within paragraphs.

 

RoundTrip - accept/reject in browser

Users can now dynamically accept or reject round trip changes within the web preview.

Exari version 5.4 comes with many new features for  authors, including:
