We are looking for a dedicated Dev Ops Engineer who will work outside and along with our agile development teams, working with our Team & Technical Leads to refine, improve and maintain our build pipeline. You will be enabling our engineers to work more efficiently and improve our Continuous Integration, along with helping to design and deliver a Continuous Delivery system and architecting our products towards a software-as-a-service model.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage our automated build, test, deployment process
  • Facilitate additions and improvements to current automations
  • Ensure cross-team coordination on processes
  • Be creative and bring fresh ideas for designing new and user-friendly solutions
  • Advise on product architecture from a deployment perspective

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Jenkins or knowledge of another continuous integration and deployment system
  • Docker/Kubernetes or containerization
  • Amazon Web Services or other cloud system
  • Bash, python or powershell scripting
  • Unix/Linux OS administration and configuration
  • Experience in building and deploying Java or NodeJS applications
  • JIRA and Bitbucket integrations
  • Gradle, Ant or other build scripts

It will be an advantage if you also have some experience of:

  • Developing or deploying Alfresco software
  • Agile development patterns
  • NoSQL database admin
  • Deploying microservices, software as a service, or other software built of multiple components
