Reports To: Sales Operations Manager
FLSA: Exempt
Location: Boston  

General Summary

Exari is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst who is interesting in joining an agile and rapidly growing company. The Sales Operations Analyst will be the go-to person for the systems that Sales and Field Operations manages. This will include managing the systems daily and constantly working to improve them. This role is a perfect fit for someone who is looking to learn how a software company operates and has a passion for analytics.

Essential Job Functions

System Administrator

  • Key systems include: Salesforce, RFP solution, sales methodology software and more.
  • Be the subject matter expert on the systems
  • Respond to and resolve help desk requests
  • Maintain and improve data quality
  • Lead strategic system improvements, including:
    • Creating better processes through system configuration
    • Working with vendors to ensure we are optimizing our use of the system

Reporting and Analytics

  • Measure and track team performance
  • Help to improve our forecasting process and accuracy
  • Conduct pricing analysis to make sure we are pricing competitively
  • Be creative and take the initiate to find new insights about the Exari business

Process Improvement

  • Define how we decide to respond and then answer RFPs
  • Find and propose new software solutions to fix problem areas
  • Have a fresh perspective on our Sales organization and to not be afraid to share ideas and ask questions

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interview new team members

Preparation, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 1-3 years of operations, reporting, analysis, and overall management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong experience with Excel
  • Salesforce experience and with an ability to adapt to new analytical tools quickly
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • A strong candidate will be a self-starter, take initiative and be coachable
  • Software and Sales experience is a plus

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

  • Normal business environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
