General Summary

The ideal candidate has demonstrated a consistent background of marketing leadership across diversified portfolio of marketing responsibilities. The candidate must have experience managing a variety of marketing projects end-to-end, including, but not limited to: building out corporate messaging and PR programs, field marketing, product marketing, sales enablement, integrated demand generation, and social media while using the latest marketing technologies.

The VP of Marketing will report directly to the CEO and will oversee internal marketing teams, subcontractors and agencies.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to contribute to shaping the company’s strategic planning yet be hands on with marketing execution. Ultimately, you will ensure the marketing department’s activities align with Exari’s sales teams and contribute to our company’s long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness
  • Set near-term and long-term goals for the marketing team
  • Design, track and forecast the marketing department’s budget
  • Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR and AR strategies
  • Monitor all marketing campaigns and strive for continuous improvement
  • Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
  • Prepare regular reports on marketing metrics for our CEO and management team
  • Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
  • Forecast hiring needs for the marketing department
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company’s objectives
  • Track competitors’ activities

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a VP of Marketing, Marketing Director or other senior role
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google Adwords
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, HubSpot and other digital marketing tools and techniques
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
