Based in the UK, Melissa is Exari’s General Counsel. Most recently, Melissa served as in-house counsel for Adsensa. Starting her legal career at Osborne Clarke, Melissa was a litigator on the corporate and commercial team before joining the corporate team at Allen & Overy LLP where she specialized in employee benefits and litigation.
Gary leads Exari’s finance and operations teams after having held senior operating and finance roles at multiple venture backed businesses. Previously, Gary served as a member of the management team at RiverRidge Consulting Group, specializing in the triage of troubled venture backed businesses, M&A advisory services, turnarounds and ownership transitions. Gary led strategic development teams while at Accenture Strategic Services in the Supply Chain Strategy Practice for communications and technology clients. While at JPMorgan, Gary executed finance transactions for emerging technology companies within the corporate finance investment banking group. Gary earned his Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, and his MBA from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business.
Jamie co-founded Exari in 2000 and served as CEO until 2008 when he relocated to Boston to expand the company. Prior to co-founding Exari, Jamie was a Senior Associate with Minter Ellison, a large Australian law firm, where he focused on copyright, technology and the information industries. He is a Fellow of the Center for Legal Innovation, part of Vermont Law School. He received his law degree from the University of Melbourne.
Øystein started with CMA Contiki in 2004 as a software developer and has worked with a wide variety of functionalities, assignments, and customers during his time at CMA Contiki. Now the Managing Director and CTO of Exari Norway, Øystein is responsible for leading engineering and support for Exari worldwide. Øystein received his degree from the University of Bergen where he studied Computer Science and Mathematics.
Mike leads the marketing and product management teams worldwide at Exari. He has held senior roles at Novell, CSC, and Manhattan Associates. Beginning his career as a developer and product manager, Mike developed a passion for marketing products in the tech space. In 2007, he founded Safelight Security, a market leader in security education. After serving first as COO then President and CEO, Mike sold Safelight in 2014 to Security Innovations, where he was VP of Product Management and Marketing. Mike holds a BA in Economics from Stonehill College and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Olin School of Business at Babson College.
Scott is a veteran to the contract management space, leading the growth and strategy of Exari’s solutions to the market. He most recently worked for Seal Software as their Vice President of Customer Success, and prior to that spent 10 years with Emptoris serving in key sales and professional services roles. Scott holds a B.B.A. from Texas Tech University and an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
Geoff established Exari’s European business in 2006, opening our London office and growing sales to insurance, investment banking, media, technology and legal customers. Prior to Exari, he was Sales & Services Director for a leading specialist software provider, for the global listed derivatives industry. Prior to this, Geoff worked for NCR for 12 years in a number of sales and management roles.
Before co-founding Exari in 2000, Justin was a Senior Project Manager at Lochard, a software company which specialized in the integration of flight track monitoring systems for major international airports. He also assisted with the commercialization of biotechnology applications for a technology company in Israel. Justin is responsible for Exari’s technology infrastructure and leading the technical delivery team. Justin has a Doctorate in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
Bill joined Exari in 2015 as Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the company’s vision, strategy and business operations. Bill has a strong track record of growing technology companies including Kalido, where he served as President and CEO, Novell, as President of Asia Pacific and Chief Marketing Officer, as well as in senior marketing positions with market leaders PeopleSoft and Hyperion Software. Bill began his career at IBM, where he spent ten years in sales, marketing and executive management. Bill holds a BS degree in business administration from the Questrom School of Management at Boston University.
Ed is Chairman of Beacon Equity Partners LLC and Beacon Real Estate Partners LLC. Prior to Beacon, Ed had been CEO, president, or chairman of five technology companies, both public and private. He has served as an adjunct professor at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management and is the former chairman of the board of the Judge Baker Children’s Center, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. Ed is an avid sportsman, aviator, and philanthropist. In 2013, Ed established the Pan-Florida Challenge, a 180-mile charity bike ride across Florida, which raises money to help feed hungry children across the state.
